R Visa is issued to foreign high-level personnel and much-needed highly talented people who need to stay and work in China. Usually they can get a multiple-entry talent visa with the validity of 5-10 years, the duration of each stay can be as long as 180 days.

Applicant Eligibility

1. Foreign high level and exceptional ability talents who are in urgent need by the State.

2. Foreign high level talents certified by Beijing talent authority.

3. Highly specialized talents who are employed and guaranteed by the enterprises certified by science and technology authority of Beijing Municipal Government.

4. Other foreigners who are certified by the inviting organization as high-level talents.

2. Submit the Information Collection Form at https://ictp-ap.org/form/86#/

3. ICTP-AP apply online for the Confirmation Letter for High Level Foreign Talents

4. ICTP-AP send the Letter to visa applicant

5. Visitor prepare other visa documents and submit all the documents to the Chinese embassy, consulate or Chinese Visa Application Service Centre
