The 2024 ICTP-AP Winter School on Theoretical Physics is scheduled to take place from November 25 to 29, 2024 in Beijing, China. 

The winter school aims to foster a deeper understanding of theoretical physics among college students. It provides a platform for the exchange of ideas and frontier research in theoretical physics. Students can engage with leading experts in the field, explore the latest research, and contribute to the advancement of theoretical physics on a global scale.

Who can apply?

Senior undergraduate students, Master students, PhD students

Application Process:

Participants from all over the world are encouraged to apply. Interested participants are required to submit an application form along with their CV and a letter of recommendation. The application deadline is November 10, 2024.

After submission of the application form, a link to upload the reference letter will display. Please send the link to your referees to upload the reference letter.

Accommodation & Funding:

ICTP-AP will offer a free accommodation in a shared double room at the Internatioanl Conference Centre at UCAS to the selected participants.

Accommodation and meals will be arranged by the local organising committee, and a meal fee of 300RMB per person will be charged.

Further information on funding opportunities will be provided upon acceptance.
